No, all you need is an account! You get a free extensive drug library and the quick reference guide within the app free, always. 

Drug library "deep dive" feature, crisis references, vasopressors/infusions/transfusions, and pathophysiology & anesthesia considerations are all included in app.

Yes! Each course has a customizable questionnaire. You will insert in your name, AANA number (if applicable), dates of travel, and location/resort. All input can be changed if your travel plans change. 

Yes! Each course has been approved by the AANA for 20 MAC Ed CEs. Currently, CE Halo has 3 courses, 20 MAC Ed credits each. All 3 courses expire on 9/30/2029.

Yes your account will unlock you paid course on your mobile device, home computer, tablet, or labtop! Simple log in to the Luma Anesthesia app or go to https://ce.cehalo.com/ for your course log in. 

Every course has modules and each module is a PDF file. You can complete each module on your own time, anywhere! Every module has a quick quiz and evaluation that must be completed. 

CE Halo quizzes are designed to reinforce learning, not to trick you. Each question is includes built in hints, where 2 wrong answers are eliminated. We want you to succeed! You must receive an 80% to pass the quiz (per AANA guidelines) and you are offered 3 attempts.

CE Halo is currently working on 2 more courses valued at 20 MAC Ed CEs each. The topics for these courses are "Regional" and "Upcoming Technology in Anesthesia". Stay tuned for course releases and sign up for our mailing list.

Most modules take between 30-60 minutes depending on the CE designation. Each course has approximately 10-12 modules. You can learn on your own time, all modules are independent study.

Yes, on the last day of every month, CE Halo submits that months completed courses with all your information to the AANA for you! You must include you AANA number (both members and non-members have IDs). You may also download your certificate and submit CEs yourself if you prefer.

Absolutely! Each course has a form that is filled out for your certificate. If you enjoy travel and want to complete your CEs in Italy, a cruise ship, Hawaii, or anywhere in the world, you can! 

As a practicing CRNA of more than 16 years, I wanted to develop a "one stop shop" for busy CRNAs. I love to travel but my vacation time does not always align with conference dates. I wanted to develop self study courses where CRNAs are free to choose their own destinations on their own time anywhere in the world. Allowing CRNAs the freedom to maintain certification on their own terms! I became interested in app development as a hobby and began taking courses in "Web and Mobile Development". I then wanted to created an amazing anesthesia reference app where anesthesia providers can have extensive knowledge in an organized, easy to find, and thorough way! After months of research and development, the Luma Anesthesia app was born!  

Access ends on its own and the learner is not charged. The free months are a time-limited access grant tied to the course purchase, not a free trial attached to a subscription. No payment method is on file for that access, and it never turns into a paid plan. When it expires, the clinical app content locks again and the learner can choose whether to subscribe. Their purchased course access isn't affected. 

Unfortunately no. One course purchase is only good for 1 month access one time. Additional single course purchase does NOT include another month of access. If you purchase the 3 course bundle package, that is when you would receive 3 months of free app access.  

You can reset your password from either the mobile app or website. Your account is linked to your email. If there are any issues, PLEASE contact us at info@cehalo.com We have a 24 hour response time, we are always here to offer the best customer experience! 

At CE Halo, we keep all data and information extremely secure. We take this very seriously. We are required to keep all AANA approved courses for 60 months. This content is kept in an encrypted locked file. You have the ability to delete your account and all your information is deleted except course completion and certificates (AANA requirement).

Not at this time. You must be a CRNA to receive CRNA CE credit. SRNAs are welcome to purchase and complete our courses for learning and will receive a certificate of completion. AANA credits are reported for CRNAs. Students should confirm with AANA whether credits earned before certification apply to their future certification requirements. If you are close to graduating and becoming certified, you can purchase the course now but complete it before course expiration date.

Before your certificate is issued, open the course and select “Edit course registration.” You can update your name, credentials, AANA ID, location of completion, and participation dates. Select “Save details & view modules” to save your changes.

Please review your information before requesting your certificate. You may leave both dates blank when registering and add them before requesting your certificate.

If your certificate has already been issued, changes to your registration will not update the existing certificate. Please contact info@cehalo.com with the course title and the correction you are requesting so we can review it.

CE Halo can only submit completed CEs after the certificate date. 

The NBCRNA, which sets CRNA certification-maintenance requirements, requires a minimum of 60 MAC Ed (Class A) credits and 40 MAC Dev (Class B) credits during each four-year cycle, for a total of 100 credits.

Yes! MAC Ed credits earned beyond the required 60 can satisfy the MAC Dev requirement. Each additional eligible MAC Ed credit counts as one MAC Dev credit within the same four-year cycle; MAC Dev credits cannot replace the required 60 MAC Ed credits.

For example, earning 100 eligible MAC Ed credits during your cycle can fulfill both credit requirements: 60 count toward MAC Ed, and the remaining 40 count toward MAC Dev. You would not need an additional 40 MAC Dev credits on top of those 100.

Please note: These credits fulfill the education and professional-development portion of continued certification, not every renewal requirement. You must also meet the applicable assessment and other requirements for your cycle; check your NBCRNA account for your personalized requirements and deadlines.
