Each of the items above is referred to as a "Service," and together they are the "Services."

CE HALO LLC ("CE HALO," "we," "us," "our") provides the Services for licensed healthcare professionals, students in health-professions programs, and adult learners. By using any Service, browsing content, creating an account, enrolling in or purchasing a CE course, downloading a resource, or accepting these disclaimers in-app or on cehalo.com, you agree to the terms below.

The Services are provided for educational and professional reference only. They are study aids, board-prep companions, clinical reference tools, and continuing education activities. They are:

• Not medical devices
• Not FDA-cleared or FDA-approved
• Not electronic health records (EHRs)
• Not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition
• Not a substitute for formal education, supervised clinical training, licensure, or institutional credentialing
• Not individualized medical, nursing, or anesthesia advice for any specific patient

Content may include drug references, protocols, algorithms, calculators, charts, case guides, exam-prep materials, wellness content, AANA-approved MAC Ed course materials, other continuing education materials, videos, downloadable PDFs, and AI-generated responses. All of it is educational unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate, written agreement.

The Services are intended for:

• Licensed healthcare professionals (including but not limited to physicians, CRNAs, anesthesiologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinicians)
• Students in health-professions training programs
• Adults aged 18 and older using the Services for learning or professional reference

You must practice only within your own license, certification, credentials, and institutional privileges. Nothing in any Service authorizes you to practice beyond your legal scope of practice. Specialty labeling (for example "Anesthesia," "Nurse," "NP," "ICU," or "MAC Ed") describes content focus only — it does not expand your authority to diagnose, prescribe, or treat.

Nothing in any Service — including drug references, dosing information, weight-based charts, IV compatibility data, lab interpretation guides, EKG/rhythm content, crisis cards, airway or regional guides, calculators, protocols, pathways, NCLEX or board-prep materials, AANA-approved MAC Ed course content, wellness content, or AI assistant responses — is a substitute for:

• Your own professional training, licensure, and clinical judgment
• Direct assessment of the individual patient in front of you
• Consultation with a qualified colleague, attending, or supervising provider when appropriate
• Your institution's official policies, order sets, protocols, and procedures
• Current manufacturer package inserts and prescribing information
• Applicable professional standards, guidelines, and laws

You are solely responsible for every clinical decision you make. Do not rely on any single source, including the Services, to make a decision about patient care.

Use of any Service does not create:

• A physician–patient, CRNA–patient, NP–patient, or nurse–patient relationship
• Any professional, consulting, supervisory, or fiduciary relationship between you, any patient, CE HALO LLC, our instructors, our contributors, our reviewers, or any AI provider we use

We do not provide medical advice, nursing advice, anesthesia advice, or personalized clinical consultation through the Services. CE HALO instructors, reviewers, and content contributors are not acting as your consultant or attending; their content is educational and is not directed at any specific patient of yours.

The Services are not designed for patient care documentation or storage of Protected Health Information (PHI).

• Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, dates of birth, addresses, photos, images, or any other patient-identifying information into any app, course discussion, quiz free-text field, notes, community feature, contact form, or AI chat.
• If you choose to discuss a clinical scenario for learning (including in a CE course discussion or reflection), use de-identified, hypothetical information only.
• We are not your HIPAA business associate for routine use of the Services as educational and reference tools. No business-associate agreement is created by your use of the Services.

We take reasonable care to keep content accurate and current, and CE HALO AANA-approved MAC Ed courses undergo the review process required by AANA. However, medicine, nursing practice, pharmacology, guidelines, and exam blueprints change constantly. Content may be:

• Out of date
• Incomplete
• Oversimplified for teaching
• Subject to regional or institutional variation
• Affected by typographical or data-entry errors
• Superseded by newer guidelines released after publication or review

Always verify critical information — especially drug names, concentrations, dosing, routes, indications, contraindications, black-box warnings, interactions, dilutions, infusion rates, airway steps, crisis algorithms, and lab critical values — against:

• Current manufacturer prescribing information
• Your institutional protocols and formulary
• Primary guidelines and trusted references appropriate to your specialty
• A qualified colleague when uncertainty remains

Citations, "last updated" labels, references lists, and AANA course-approval statements, where shown, are provided to support verification and to satisfy accreditor requirements; they do not guarantee completeness or real-time accuracy at the point of care.

Any drug monograph, dose range, weight-based chart, infusion table, compatibility note, calculator output, or protocol suggestion in the Services is an educational estimate only.

Before any real-world use related to medication or treatment planning, you must confirm:

• The correct drug, concentration, and formulation
• Patient-specific factors (age, weight, allergies, pregnancy/lactation, organ function, comorbidities, concurrent medications)
• Institutional policies and available products
• Manufacturer prescribing information

High-alert medications — including pediatric dosing, obstetric dosing, vasoactive infusions, anticoagulants, insulin, opioids, neuromuscular blockers, local anesthetics, and moderate-to-deep sedation agents — require heightened independent verification. Calculator results can be wrong if inputs are wrong or formulas do not match your protocol — always re-check the math and the clinical context.

Crisis cards, emergency algorithms, airway rescue pathways, code-related educational content, and similar materials are training and reference aids only.

• The Services are not emergency response systems.
• In an emergency, follow your institution's emergency procedures (Code Blue, MET/RRT, anesthesia emergency call structure, etc.) and call 911 or your local emergency number when appropriate.
• Do not delay care to look up content in an app, course, or website.
• Protocol names or educational summaries that resemble published resuscitation guidelines are for learning; they are not a substitute for your certified training course cards, institutional algorithms, or current official guidelines.
• Unless expressly stated, CE HALO LLC is not affiliated with AHA, Red Cross, ILCOR, ASA, ASPAN, AACN, or other guideline-issuing organizations.

CE HALO offers continuing education activities, including AANA-approved MAC Ed courses for CRNAs. In connection with those courses:

• Courses are educational activities designed to support clinical knowledge and professional development. They do not authorize any specific clinical action, and completing a course does not certify competence in a procedure or technique.
• Where a course is prior-approved by AANA for Class A (MAC) credit, the approval reflects that the activity meets AANA's continuing education standards; it does not constitute an endorsement by AANA of any specific product, drug, device, technique, or clinical recommendation discussed in the course.
• Content-expert and clinical review: courses undergo review appropriate to the accreditor, but the ultimate application of course content to any specific patient remains your responsibility.
• Commercial support and conflict of interest: where applicable, commercial support relationships and relevant financial relationships of planners, presenters, reviewers, and authors are disclosed in the course materials in accordance with AANA and other accreditor requirements.
• Off-label and investigational content: where a course discusses off-label uses, unapproved products, or investigational agents, that discussion is disclosed and is provided for educational purposes only. See also Section 11 (Off-Label Information).
• Credit issuance: CE credit is awarded only when the participant meets all completion requirements posted for the course (for example, completing the content, passing quizzes at the required score, and submitting any required evaluation). CE credit records are maintained as described in the CE HALO Privacy Policy.
• No guarantee of exam or licensing outcomes: completing a CE HALO course does not guarantee passage of any board, certification, recertification, or licensing examination, nor does it satisfy any specific state or employer requirement unless the course explicitly says so.

If a course-specific disclosure or disclaimer is posted with the course, that course-specific language also applies and, where stricter, controls for that course.

Depending on which Service and features you use, additional limits apply:

a) Anesthesia-focused content (including Luma Anesthesia and MAC Ed courses). Airway, regional, OB/peds anesthesia, ERAS, surgical case outlines, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), sedation, and machine/monitoring educational content are general references. Technique selection, dosing, and rescue steps must follow your training, supervision requirements, and institutional standards.

b) Nursing and NP-focused content (including Luma Nurse and Luma NP). Delegation, scope, assessment frameworks, care planning, and clinical tools are educational. Follow your state nurse practice act, facility policy, and provider orders. Prescribing-related educational content (where present) does not authorize prescribing.

c) ICU / critical care content (including Luma ICU). Ventilation, hemodynamics, vasoactive drips, and critical care pathways vary widely by unit protocol. Unit-specific orders and policies control.

d) Labs, diagnostics, imaging, and EKG/rhythm content. Interpretation guides are educational pattern-recognition aids, not diagnostic determinations for any specific patient.

e) Exam prep (NCLEX, board review, question banks, flashcards). Study materials are not affiliated with NCSBN, NBCRNA, ABA, AANP, ANCC, or other testing organizations unless explicitly stated. They do not guarantee exam passage. Always rely on official candidate handbooks and current test plans for exam rules.

f) Wellness / Luma Calm or similar features. Breathing exercises, mindfulness, and wellness content are general self-care resources for adult users. They are not psychotherapy, crisis counseling, or treatment for any mental health condition. If you or someone else is in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately. In the United States, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

g) AI features. Any AI-generated response is a statistical language output, not a clinical determination. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Do not enter patient identifiers or PHI into any AI feature. Always independently verify AI output against authoritative sources and your professional judgment before any clinical use.

h) Community, user-generated, or shared content. If a Service allows posts, comments, discussion threads, or shared notes, that content reflects individual users' views, not medical advice from CE HALO LLC. Verify independently before any clinical use.

i) Videos, downloadable PDFs, and printable references. Materials you download or print may become out of date after download. Check for the current version before relying on them.

Educational materials and CE courses may discuss uses, doses, or practices that include off-label information for teaching purposes. Off-label discussion is not a recommendation to use a product off-label. Prescribing and administration decisions remain solely yours (within your legal authority) and must comply with law, professional standards, and institutional policy.

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected, or that any specific educational, clinical, exam, credentialing, or CE-credit outcome will result from use of the Services.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CE HALO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, INSTRUCTORS, REVIEWERS, LICENSORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, LICENSURE, CREDENTIAL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

• Your use of, or inability to use, any Service
• Your reliance on any content, calculator output, protocol, course material, or AI response
• Any clinical decision, patient outcome, or professional act or omission
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Any third-party service (including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Base44 infrastructure, Thinkific, Stripe, email service providers, or AI providers)
• Any interruption, error, delay, or loss of CE credit records caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER BASED IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CE HALO LLC and its officers, members, employees, contractors, instructors, reviewers, and contributors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Services
• Your clinical decisions or professional acts or omissions
• Your violation of these Medical Disclaimers, the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use / EULA, any CE course participant terms, or applicable law
• Your submission of PHI or other prohibited content
• Any misrepresentation of your license, credentials, or eligibility for CE credit

By browsing or using any Service, creating an account, subscribing, enrolling in or purchasing a CE course, downloading a resource, or checking the Medical Disclaimers / Terms acknowledgment in an app or on cehalo.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Medical Disclaimers, and that you will exercise independent professional judgment in every clinical and educational situation.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Medical Disclaimers work together with:

• The CE HALO LLC Privacy Policy
• The Terms of Use / EULA for the Services
• Any CE course participant terms posted with a specific course
• Any in-app or in-course context-specific warnings (for example on drug cards, calculators, crisis tools, AI chat, wellness features, or specific course modules)

If a specific in-app, in-course, or in-content warning is stricter for a feature or course, that stricter warning also applies. For privacy and account data practices, see the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Medical Disclaimers from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Material changes may be surfaced in the apps, on cehalo.com, or by email to CE course participants. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
